MOLLUS Medal #6630, to Surgeon Fidelio B. Gillette, 9th New Jersey Infantry

Offered is an original Military Order of the Loyal Legion (MOLLUS) Medal #6630, to Surgeon Fidelio B. Gillette, 9th New Jersey Infantry.  He enlisted on August 20, 1862 as an assistant surgeon, subsequently promoted to surgeon on February 8, 1865.  He mustered out on February 12, 1865 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The ribbon has some \"bleeding\" of the red center into the side colors as shown, and the brooch pin is broken.  There is a small chip in the white enamel on the bottom ray on the reverse.  See photos.
