We are pleased to offer you this early 1900s MONTELAISE ROOTOLA \'THE INVIGORATING BEVERAGE\' soda fountain syrup dispenser.
This was discovered in the basement of a toppling Detroit building a few years back and kept in a local Michigan collection since then.
It is believed that Rootola was Montelaise\'s brand of Root Beer Cola.
The dispenser is just as it was found. There is some fading to the center monogram and it has the wrong pump.
The other paint looks great as does the gold. There is a skip of gold in the front but I think that was done when it was made. Not sure.
It measures 13-1/2\" to to top of the pump. Approximately 10-1/2\" to the rim.
The dispenser is in remarkable condition considering where it was was found. There are no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind.
It\'s incredible, really, that it has survived at all and now it can be yours.
