Neat 1917 Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine From England With A \"Dome\" Case For Sale

This sale is for anice &older model Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machinecomplete with it\'sWalnut \"Dome\" style carring case from England.It works smoothly and all moving parts move freely. It has a few extra attachments with for the machine. It has a serial number ofF8144274 which dates it made in 19107at Clydebank, Scotland. The case is inpretty good overall condition. There are two small pieces of the veneer missing on bottom edge on the end where thelock is located. It also has a couple of small pieces of the banding on the crown of the dome missing, see pictures below.The decals are good overallon the machine and even the dome.It still has it\'s bobbin & scuttle and still has it\'s \"sidewinder bobbin\" winder . These make wonderful item for display in your home or sewing room plus it will still work if you care to give it a try.

The only defect I could find on the machine is there is some very minor pitting on the metal of the base and some of the decalsare a little worn. I would say that90 to 95% of the decals are still good to very good.It has a medium dark Honey Oak Patina to the case, The Base is in good condition without any signs of rot or worm damage. It has some blemishes to the finish (light or dark spots or marks) nicks, dings & scratches tothecase as well to the base of the machinefrom normal use over the years,butfor it\'s age and travels it\'sin overallgood condition and ready to set out and use and enjoy. It would make a Killer Display piece in your home.
