Very nice early English dirk most likely made for export having a cutlerry stylke handle made of iether silver or German silver, possibly even used during the American Civil War period as many of such examples were. Mounted with a nice quality double edged blade showing lovely rich patina and well marked to the maker on one side of ricasso. Solid and overall intact on this very pleasant early dagger.
