Here is anice19th century naval boardingaxein good originalcondition. The nicely shapediron headhas a nice dark smooth surface patina from genuine age. The original shaped woodenhandle has anice patina which can be seen in the photos. The iron head is secured onto the handle with iron straps on both sides which also protect the neck area of the handle. In total measuring 14 inches long. The head measures 8.6 inches wide with a2.5 inch longblade. Provenance - originally from Portsmouth the historic home of the British navy.
