NICE ANTIQUE 1940\'S ZENITH BLACK DIAL TUBE WOOD AM RADIO SERVICED WORKS GOOD For Sale

Up for offers is this fabulous & extremely nice looking Zenith tube two-tone wood Ingraham cabinet AM radio in great working condition. I believe the model number on this wonderful radio is 5-A-10 & it was produced in the 1941 era. The two tone cabinet is all original that is solid & tight with no missing veneer. This cabinet has been cleaned & polished which still retains it\'s original sheen or shine finish that looks fantastic & the grain in the wood looks spectacular as well. The wood cabinet looks stunning but it is not perfect as there a few very small nicks, scratches & slight wear from age & use. For a radio that is 75yrs old & in it\'s original finish it looks amazing. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this stunning looking & working radio.The black AM dial scale with the airplane prop dial pointer is very cool looking & both are in fantastic condition with good graphics & a new working dial light has been installed. The plastic dial scale lens cover has also been replaced & it is crystal clear. A new dial string has also been installed. The 2 brown plastic bakelite control knobs with the Z logo on them are in great condition. There is no back panel. The antenna system that is mounted onto the back of the chassis is in great working condition.The chassis is in good condition & it is a 6-tube unit with 2-controls & both controls have been lubricated & are in great working condition. The chassis has had all new electrolytic capacitor/filters installed & all paper/wax capacitors have been replaced & a new electric cord has been installed. This radio has been restored to great working condition.When this beautiful looking Zenith is powered up, it pulls in AM stations all around that cool looking dial scale & plays them clean & clear with plenty of volume in my area.This Zenith radio would make an excellent addition to your radio collection or as a stand alone radio as it\'s power & beauty will surely be the talk of the room by all whom enter.This is a vintage radio & must be handled & cared for & treatedin this manor & not like a modern day boombox.
