Hey, Ihear you! I have the fix.

These aregreat receivers, but if yours has worked well for a year or so, count

yourblessings. You are due to start havingproblems with the HDMI inputs.

When youtry to switch from one HDMI input (say your cable box) to another (maybe your

PS3, XBox,DVD player, or some other HDMI device), the TV screen goes blank

or readssomething like: \"Searching for signal, no input, check cable, etc.\"

It may startout taking a long time to recognize an input signal,
but eventually it escalates to the point of that it NEVER successfully switches to
the HDMI input you are trying to view.

\"Other Related Problems\"that can occur:

1) you may no longer be able to view theOn-Screen Display (OSD) Setup Menu or the

Audyssey Graphics On-Screen when youcalibrate your speakers to your room and,

2) the receiver no longer convertsComposite/Component/S-Video Inputs to HDMI Output.

I WILL fix the HDMI switching problemfor you and MOST of the time the

\"Other RelatedProblems\" are fixed, too - BUT NOT ALWAYS!

The problemwas poorly designed HDMI circuits within the Onkyo or Integra. I know, because
I own one and I fixed it. Now it switches back and forth between different HDMI
inputs without any problem. What arelief! I really like these receivers, but waspretty
upset that mine didn\'t last more than about 18 months (others have failed
as quickly as 6 months).

Even if youbought an extended warranty, would you be happy to ship it off to some repairfacility and have your Audio/Video system down for at least a month? And whenyou got it back, would you be OK with the fact that they just used the sameWEAK parts which won\'t last any longer than the original parts? Well as far asI was concerned, that was completely unacceptable! So, I dug around until I learned what theproblem was and how to fix it once and for all. I replace specific componentson the HDMI circuit card. I use parts that are rated for BOTH voltage and temperature MUCHhigher than the original design parts. My repairs areGUARANTEED for 90-Days from return delivery date, but I know that my fix willlast you much longer than what you originally got out of your new receiver!
