…… Donald Ross was a California Photographer who is associated with many great photographers including Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Wynn Bullock and Edward Weston. This sale is for an authentic, Black & White Photograph by Donald Ross which is titled “Egg in Black Iron Skillet.” Measuring 7 9/16” by 9 5/8” this photograph comes mounted to the original 11 ¼” by 15” backboard. You can see the photographer’s pencil-written notes on this backboard including measurements for re-sizing and an inscription on the back that reads, “8x10 Agfa Comm. View, Pancho Press Type B, 1 Sec F90 10” T. Reich, Aceton Pyro, Haloid Industro. Amisol, #2.” You can also see the photographer’s business card attached to the back, with the title of the photo, and the series “Perceptions.” Finally, the date 1954 is stamped in the lower right corner of the backboard. …… In our photographs you can see that there is some edge toning and corner nicks to the backboard, as well as a couple of tiny nicks to the edges of the photograph. Please be aware that UPS will be increasing all shipping rates by 4.9% and this increase is effective as of December 29th, 2014.

UPS is also using a new billing structure which calculates the cost of shipping using Dimensional weight instead of the actual weight of the package. More information about this change can be found on UPS’s website and if you see an increase in the shipping calculator, this is why.

If you find that there is a discrepancy between \'s estimate and your invoiced shipping cost, we apologize. We are currently working closely with to have the calculator provide accurate costs. In the meantime, we are manually and accurately adjusting each invoice after the close of the sale. We assure you that we do not make money on shipping! We also assure you that we properly and professionally pack every item as well as fully insure each package. At the end of each day, any buyer who has paid $5 or more over actual shipping costs, will receive a refund!

Payments:

Payment must be received within 5 days of receiving an invoice. PayPal payments are preferred and if payment, or contact from the buyer, isn\'t received within 5 days, an dispute will be opened. This dispute will be closed within 4 days after being opened and the item will be re-listed.  If you have a problem, please call us and we will help you solve it. 

If you do not want your item shipped immediately (within 24hrs) please get in contact with us before paying! If you need additional time to pay, if you are interested in combining shipping with other items, or if you are interested in a pick-up or delivery, please contact us before paying. Once an item is paid for, we obligated by to ship it within 24hrs or we incur a penalty.

Shipping:

**We do not make money on shipping. We promise to charge our customers exact shipping costs. After labels are printed, any buyer who has paid more than $5 over exact costs, will receive a refund!**

If you pay with Paypal: We can only ship to the address listed on you invoice or on your Paypal payment. If you have a special address that your item needs to be shipped to, it must be reflected in one of these places, or we cannot ship it there. We are not protected by Paypal’s Seller Protection Policy if we ship to an address that is not reflected in or Paypal’s system.

Most freight items are still shipped via UPS Ground, however some are too large and will be shipped via SEKO Worldwide.  Please be sure to message us for a quote so that you know how much this is going to cost before offerding.

US Buyers: The shipping calculator on the sale is an estimate and actual charges will be figured at the close of each sale. Our standard method of shipping is UPS ground however, if you prefer USPS this is also an option. Any item that sells for over $250 must be sent with signature required and if you choose USPS, it will be shipped via express mail.

International buyers:  Please be aware that you may incur a brokerage and/or customs fee upon delivery. Winning buyer is responsible for shipping & customs charges and we WILL NOT LIE on customs forms. This is illegal and is against ’s policies. All items that sell for over $250 are sent via express mail. If you have questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

Returns:
