A beautiful original Art Deco table light. The Spanish dancer strikes a pose on top of and alabaster ball. The figure is made from spelter and retains her original cold painted finish. She was found in southern England but could have originated from France. She dates from circa.1920-30. Rewired with antique silk covered flex, with original brass B15 small bayonet bulb holder. The piece is more of a night stand or side light as it is not very bright. A low wattage bulb is fitted to prevent damage to the alabaster. The piece is in good condition but the alabaster has darkened and aged from the bulbs heat over the years. A very unusual original antique piece, I have not seen this or one like it before. It measures 37cms tall and the base is 12.7cms square. 14 1/2 inches tall and the base is 5 inches square. To be sold with price.
