ORIGINAL M1942 US ARMY UNREINFORCED AIRBORNE PARATROOPER JACKET SIZE 38R

This is an original US Army 1942 dated unreinforced M42 paratrooper Jacket. The Quartermaster tag is in Very good condition and dates this to 1942, size 38R. Unfortunately I cannot find a name, but the GI\'s laundry ID number is stenciled inside the waist band. I have the matching jump trousers to go with these with the same ID number. Has the waistbelt, good working CROWN zipper and a CONMAR zipper on the knife pocket.

This jacket is in Very good to excellent condition. No missing buttons, good color. I am not any kind of authority on Airborne uniforms and am selling for a client (who also sets his price) so if you have any questions please ask, I will do my best to answer.

Shoulder to shoulder: 18\"

Armpit to armpit: 20\"

Waist: 16-1/2\" (times 2 = 33\" waist)

Sleeve length from shoulder seam to end of cuff: 24\"

From bottom collar seam to bottom jacket hem: 29-1/2\"

Most of the time I am very careful although I do try to use whatever boxes I can find instead of buying them to keep from charging a handling fee.
