ORIGINAL VINTAGE, GAMEWELL POLICE CALL PATROL BOX WITH HANDSET AND KEY For Sale

This is an original Gamewell Police Patrol Box made in Newton, MA. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS BELOW FOR CONDITION. The box is unrestored and comes with the original brass key, inside handset, and rear mounting bracket. The brass key works both to open the box and the emergency lock as well. The locks work smoothly. The cool thing is that there is a lot of old pencil notes and phone numbers written inside the housing probably where police jotted down info when there was no note paper. Boston seems to be written a couple of times inside, so the box might be from Boston. There is a missing piece of metal inside on the upper left, and the handset has about half of the plastic mouthpiece cover missing on the bottom of the handset that you talk into, but you can easily replace it. The key works for both outside locks, not the inner one. Overall it\'s rare to get such a complete box and it will make a great display piece, especially if you want to restore it.
