Original WWI Austro-Hungarian Model 1916 helmet in very goodcondition. Exterior is excellent, very nice original paint with no dents orrust. #23 stamped at top. Original fabric chinstrap is present and very goodwith no tears or fraying. Leather liner is gone except for remnant of one pad.Inner steel band and three rivets are present and in very good condition.Inside rim is stamped GK 66 for maker and size 66 shell. This helmet is greatfor display as is or would be a good candidate for restoration.
