Up for offer is a Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad brass freight car lock. The lock is in excellent condition with only a few very minor side nicks. Attached to the lock is ten inches (5 double links) of original steel chain, which is very rusty. The springs are strong in both the dust cover and the shackle. The lock works perfectly and snaps right open with the proper key. (Sorry, key is NOT included). I will send a photo of the key cut to the buyer if desired.
The lock is about 3 3/4\" high, 2 3/8\" wide and 1\" thick including the keyhole cover.
Note: This lock has long been obsolete and not in use by any current railroad! Please examine pictures carefully, and ask any questions as soon as possible since I am usually not available on weekends. Please pay within five days of the end of sale, and allow me a few days to ship once payment is received.
$7.00 charge for shipping and insurance will be added to the selling price. U.S. buyers only! Payment to be by Paypal unless otherwise required.
