P1903 Bayonet by Sanderson, Sheffield & Scabbard: $152.50
This is a excellent example of the 1903 pattern bayonet by the maker Sanderson of Sheffield England. This has a excellent blued blade with no damage. It was made in the reign of king Edward VII and is stamped with his crown. The blade edges are stamped with what could be an E inspection stamp on the one edge. The walnut grips are in excellent condition and with S. The locking release mechanism works perfectly and is complete with an excellent brown leather scabbard with no damage to the stitching, chape or locket. This is in overall excellent condition commensurate with its age of well over 100 years.
