PACE BANTAM RESERVE JACKPOT MINIATURE GOOSENECK ANTIQUE SLOT MACHINE 1930\'S For Sale

Here is an oldauthentic all mechanical antique5 cent slot machine thatwas made by PACE MFG in theearly 1930\'s. It is referred to as a BANTAM RESERVE JACKPOT MINIATURE GOOSENECK BELL. It was very popular due to its cute, diminutive size and its reliability over the years. It was a very well made, quality piece of Americana. I took this machine in on trade. It had been stored away inabasement for a few years, getting played by its owners every few weeks. I\'ve played and played this guy for the last several months, and it\'s never missed a beat!! The internal mechanism hasNOT BEENrestored, yet still works properly. The only thing I couldn\'t get it to do however is when I hit the jackpot, the jackpot doors didn\'t open on their own.The double (main and reserve) jackpots are all there and I could get the doors to open up manually frominside the cabinet. I didn\'t troubleshoot this, leaving it for someone else to \"tinker with\". However all the other pays and plays were right on the money. It appears that someone years ago may have started a restoration on the outside (??) because the well fittingback doorlooks to have beenpowder coated in the past, and the award card looks new. The reel tapes are all original as is the Pace Money Bag on the inside front (this model collected the excess coins in a unique linen bag rather than a metal cash box like other slots of that era. The old style lock and key still work well. The paint colors are still vibrant and attractive, and the wood grain is beautiful. The castings have no breaks or cracks that I can see. All in all this is a real neat old casino antique that you can play the heck out of, yet will look great in a gameroom or on your bar. You won\'t be disappointed in this marvelous piece of authentic AMERICANA. This is an original antique slot machine, and is NOT a reproduction!!!!This is verywell made and surprisingly heavy, yet it stands only19.5 inches tall!! It\'s very attractive and as mentioneddisplays a marvelouswood grain pattern on its sides.
