PAINTED PLAINS BULL HIDE SHIELD WITH BUCKSKIN COVER For Sale

Offered in this sale is a Plains Shield made by me, Bob Brewer. Heat shrunk domestic bull rawhide, 22 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick, painted, holes burned in and strap of fringed brain tanned buffalo hide. Brain tanned buckskin cover, painted and decorated with brown turkey feathers dyed yellow, and barred turkey feathers dyed red. Deer dew claws tied on and a couple of painted thongs wrapped with porcupine quills and tipped with turkey fluffs dyed yellow. Sinew wrapping on the feathers. Made to look old. I\'ll insure for whatever it sells for.
