Vintage Panasonic RF-800 transistor radio is good overall condition. It works well on AM when powered through the AC connection (cord not included) with some low background hum. Picked up many AM stations loud & clear. The tuner light works. There is no visible battery leakage, corrosion or damage to the battery contacts, but it does not power up with batteries. On FM, I get several stations, but the sound is not clear and sounds “over-driven”. The antenna is straight, but missing the top cap, so it is taped at the tip to extend more easily. It is in good cosmetic condition with some scratches & scuffs but no cracks or chips. Sold as-is, as found with no returns or partial refunds, but guaranteed to be as shown & described. Nice radio for parts, display or prop.
