6 Pedicab Must-Haves

1.Seating for 3 – To help increase your earning potential,a 3 passenger cab is vital. Not onlywill you be able transport more people, but you will also be able to provide amore spacious and luxurious ride for those 1 or 2 person fares in your bicycletaxi.

2.26” Wheels – Twenty six inch wheels are a standard size for bicycles. Wheels with this diameter require less energyto rotate than smaller one because they have less rolling resistance.Additionally, larger wheels have more leverage for lifting it (and passengers)over bumps and debris in the road. Avoid pedicabs with 20’’ wheels.

3.Fiberglass Passenger Carriage – Fiberglassis lighter than steel which makes it easier to haul and operate. Avoid pedicabs withALL steel constructed passenger carriages.

4.A Differential – This invention is an arrangement of gearsthat permits the rotation of two shafts at different speeds, used on the rearaxle of vehicles to allow different rates of wheel rotation on curves. In otherwords, because the differential allows the rear wheels to move independently ofone another, you can maneuver around corners and make tight turns withouthaving to “swing out.” So without a differential, youraccessibility to certain locations and your ability to operate in tight spacesis greatly limited.

Unless you are picking up from the our carrier’s terminal, the carrier will use an 18 wheeler when making the delivery of your item. The 18 wheeler must be able to access your home or business. If an 18 wheeler is unable to access the place of delivery then you will be required to pick up from the trucking company’s terminal. If delivering to a place of business, the business must be open and staffed Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. If delivering to a residence the trucking company will make a delivery appointment. If the business is not open at the time of delivery, or if a delivery appointment is missed, then you will be responsible for a redelivery fee.

In addition to thereturn policy all items sold by The USA Trailer Store™ do carry a warranty.Warranties vary by product. Should you find the need for assistance with adefective item then please feel free to contact us so that we may honor thiswarranty.

Please note that ourfiberglass bodies are shipped with a gelcoat finish. Gelcoat is laid first intothe mold prior to the fiberglass matting and resins and will be the outerfinish on your pedicab. We do not add further coatings to the surface. Thegelcoat surface may contain minor cosmetic imperfections due to normalshrinkage of the fiberglass resins and/or mold transfer marks. Theseimperfections may be as large as 1 inch in diameter and may be found in severalareas of the fiberglass body. Our warranty does not extend to such minordefects.

Wehave designedthe Pedicabs to accommodate passengers not exceeding a combined weight of 600pounds. Buyer acknowledges that exceeding such weight limit may result indamage to the Pedicabs and/or serious bodily injury to Pedicab passengers,operators and/or bystanders.
