Rare Vintage 1950\'s PHILCO T-1000 Clock Radio Complements the Philco Television from Same EraWhat can we say... T-1000 is a spectacular set
Has twin 4\" speakers on either side of the clock
Entire assembly sits atop a desk stand that houses the radio chassis
Little brass plate on front was intended to be engraved with the owner\'s initials
There are brass accents around the speakers and clock face, as well as on the stand
The Philco T-1000 is featured in a number of websites devoted to classic transistor radios
The clock does not work which seems common with these units The radio does not work to my knowledge selling as untested!!!
Have read they usually just need a cleaning but no guarantee
The clock and radio require three D batteries - one for the clock and two for the radio
The brass plating is still in pretty good shape.
No cracks
Has a very cool retro look
