Pine Ridge Pottery Bowl Souix S Dakota by E Irving:
$338.99

This sale is for a rare art pottery bowl by Ella Irving of the Pine Ridge Sioux reservation in Southwest South Dakota. Pine Ridge pottery was started in the 1930s as a WPA project. There\'s a lot of information about this artist on the internet and it was interesting to learn about the connection they had to Margaret Cable of UND, as I\'m from Grand Forks originally and had relatives that made UND pottery in those Cable years..... This piece is fully signed on the bottom and has the original paper sticker. Bowl is very clean with no damage, has a lovely ring to it. Measures 2 3/4\" tall and is 8 3/4\" in diameter. !
