Purchased new by me in the mid-70\'s. Never ceased to amaze me and others who witnessed its power and sound quality for years until it was \"retired\" when we moved to a smaller home. Now we\'re about to move again and re-discovered this in the attic. Plugged it in, attached a pair of cheapie speakers- dial lighted, all input lamps respond to switches, AM and FM signal strength meters respond to station changes, but there was no usable audio- only intermittent static. I have no way to test further so can\'t say what\'s wrong except to say it was working perfectly when put into storage. No further guarantee as to condition. A few minor chips in the edges of the woodwork and some attic dust.As you probably already know, this a heavy piece, so check shipping cost before offerding. If you\'re not aware of the credentials of this superb receiver, google it and check out the link to

I have received questions regarding shipping. If you have an account with FedEx or UPS, you get a discount for shipping and you can arrange shipping from your location. They will send a shipping label to me and I will deliver the receiver to my local FedEx or UPS office. They will pack and ship it to you and bill the cost to your account. This is the least expensive and safest way to handle it. You will need to give them weight and dimensions of the item: It weighs 65 lbs, dimensions are 22\" X 19\" X 7\" and it will be shipped from a Grand Rapids, MI location. If you are the winner and have such an accountlet me know before sending payment I will adjust the and Paypal invoice to reflect proper shipping charge. If you do not have accounts with these shippers, it can still be shipped thru them, but at a somewhat higher cost.
