PreWar Roadmaster/Western Flyer Mens \"BENT\" Tank CWC 1938-1940 26\"Bicycle For Sale

Up for sale. A very rare pre-war Cleveland welding built Western Flyer 26 inch men\'s bicycle complete with \"BENT\" Tank! This is from 1938-1940. Frame serial # H47814 Featuring New Departure WL front and Model D rear hubs a clean Headbadge and the correct Truss Rod Front Fork with up-swept light mount! Frame has a rear facing drop outs with chain adjusters and the rear wings for a drop stand with the pivot points Original seat and a wide bullhorn handlebars. Skiptooth chain and dogleg crankset. The frame has been painted and I\'m not sure of the original color. There is a small crack on the frame just behind the steer tube (I\'ve been told that is typical of this frame). I have been riding it like this for quit some time ( DETROIT CRITICAL MASS etc) and have monitored it with no problems!!!The Tank is in workable condition although there is a dent on the left side. The horn ,battery tray,horn button and light switch are there and not rotted. The tank itself has some surface rust on it. There are NO Holes or rot on it.
The bike has \"Drop Center\" wheels. With White Goodyear COPY tires with good tubes. This bike does Not have the correct grips or pedals and there is 1 incorrect nut on the top of the truss rod. Please see the pictures and if you have any questions, please ask. This Bike Will Be Disassembled For Shipping And Will Require Reassembly To be Ridden!
