RARE 1800\'s T. F. Randolph Surveying Instrument Complete Outfit w/Tripod For Sale

 This is a rare find indeed as this is a complete antique surveyors outfit.  It is a brass T.F. Randolph surveying instrument patented June 24, 1879.  Unbelievable really to find it with all the additional items and in the original marked case.  The original leather case is in fair condition with the original tag inside and wooden interior parts for holding the transit.  The transit itself was protected through the years by the case.  It is in really nice condition.  The level vials are full.  The needle works great and tightener works fine etc.  The detachable telescope is also solid brass.  The cross hairs are intact although there is some dirt visible when you look through it.  Lens needs cleaned.  Light guard for the end is there also.  It comes with the original 62\" tripod with brass top and connectors for transit.  Also in nice original condition  Also with it is the original old surveyors chain or rod for short distance measuring.  This has a handle on each end.  All original.  Also with it are 11 ground pins and original brass plumb bob in a bag.  This is in as found condition from a very old estate.  We have included the most photos that will allow.  An original complete outfit.  It has never been offered for sale before.  offer with total confidence.  The tripod unpackaged weighs 10 pounds and the other items unpackaged weigh approximately 17 pounds.  Will ship in two different shipments.
