$119.50

WELCOME !

Thanks for looking in on this knife sale! You are viewing an older, but very well preserved WESTERN USA fixed-blade knife.

This stunningly beautiful American-made knife features a \"jigged bone/stag pattern\" handle. The mirror-like steel blade still has the factory edge, and is in \"Minty\" condition for being produced decades ago.

I believe that the production date is in 1980 according to the blade stamping. Also, a companion Western leather sheath is included and fit\'s the knife securely.

This desirable Western USA knife would be great for hunting game, carrying, or in their day” these older knives were mostly purchased to be used…Not collected, making this great condition even more difficult to find.

SIZE:

The complete length is measures: 9 5/16\"

The mirror-like blade measures: 5 \"

TRADEMARKS:

The blade is stamped:

W E S T E R N

U. S. A. S- H39

BLADE:

The bright steel blade has retained the factory edge with NO signs of overall re-sharpening, but has a few very light scratches or faint honing marks. This \"mirror-like\" upswept blade is straight with a pointed tip. The steel fixed blade is reflective, sharp, and has NO blade edge nicks. This old hunting knife is in excellent condition, with just enough faint patina to its add to it\'s vintage appeal.

(Please view photos for details)

(Note: the $50 dollar bill in the photos is for size comparison attractive split-tang handle is tight with NO looseness. The beautiful \"jigged bone pattern\" captures the look and feel of real stag/bone style. The beautiful stag pattern handle slabs are secured with two brass pins. I believe the handle scales are made of a Staglon, which is a durable synthetic material.

This Western hunting knife features a metal pommel, and tight brass finger guard that measures 1 1/2\" long. The beautiful old handle has No chips or cracks , and although not perfect condition...it is in amazingly good shape, for its age. There is a nice patina and some light surface scratches on the pommel end. The secure black and thin brass spacers at both ends of the handle add to this knife\'s unique character.

This USA Western knife feels well balanced and heavy for it\'s size, when held in your hand. One great knife to own...and a valuable tool whether hunting, fishing, or collecting.

(Please view photos for companion brown leather sheath is also included. The nice WESTERN sheath has a belt loop, working snap strap, and 4 secure metal rivets. The old sheath (or case) has normal wear for it\' age, such as an indention at the tip. The sheath fits the Western hunting knife securely and the fastening snap is stamped WESTERN.

This rare, beautiful old WESTERN hunting knife will make a great addition for the outdoorsman, or collector or in your family!
