Rare all original ALPS Series 62 Cadillac Eldorado convertible tin lithograph friction car with original box Made in Japan. In excellant condition. Complete with no missing pieces. Only some minor scrapes on the bottom (shown in photo) Friction mechanism works perfectly in both directions, forward and reverse. The steering wheel actual turns the front wheels on the car which also has a working front suspension. The windshield and side wings are in place, as well as all of the emblems logos and hood ornament. The tires whitewalls and hubcaps are all in excellent condition. The tires do show minor wear marks from sitting in the box. The box and box top are in excellent condition except for the one area smaller than a dime on the side of the top just below the patent numbers (shown in photo) The car will be packaged separately from the box to insure safe delivery of both pieces. A signature will be required for delivery as well. Please ask any questions before offerding.

So I tried to add photos of the box and apparently you cannot add or delete photos once the sale starts. However I can email photos of the box through the email system if you would like to see it. The bottom of the box is just as nice as the top.

SO I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INQUIRIES AS TO HOW I CAME IN POSSESION OF THE CAR. MY MOTHER PURCHASED THE CAR NEW FOR MY FATHER WHO ALWAYS TOLD HER HE WAS GOING TO OWN A CADILLAC. INSTEAD HE GOT 2 SONS AND DROVE BUICK\'S HIS ENTIRE LIFE. HE NEVER DID GET A CADILLAC. THE CAR HAS REMAINED MOSTLY UNTOUCHED IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. AS CHILDREN WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH IT. IT WAS PUT AWAY IN THE ATTIC AND FORGOT ABOUT TIL NOW.
