RARE Antique 1926 German Steiff Mohair CLOWN TEDDY BEAR, 28 cm, 11\" For Sale

This wonderful and rare antique Steiff Mohair Clown Teddy Bear was introduced in 1926 and sold only until 1930. It measures 11\" or 28 cm. tall. Examples of Steiff Clown Bears are hard to come by, especially in good condition.This bear has the4 mm button with the word Steiff and the last f underscored back as far as the E. I believe the bear has brown-tip mohair with his original white/cream felt hat and orangy brown pom pom and neck ruff.His brown glass eyes, black nose and mouth stitching are original. The bear is in \"as found\" condition and has no repairs whatsoever.
