A Rare Antique Brass Postal Scale Shelf Edge Bismar Balance complete with its original box. Fulcrum type fixed weight shelf edge scale probably dating from the mid 19th Century. Four fulcrum points with appropriate letter weights inscribed on the top of the balance bar - 1/4 , 1/2, 1 and 2 oz . Pivoted Letter clip .
