Rare COP THE CREAM WAR SLOGAN Milk Bottle Quart Blue Bell Farms Irvington NJ:
$42.00

Hello there! Up for sale I have an incredibly scarce Cop The Cream AND War Bond combination milk bottle, with embossed name on the bottom. This 1 quart milk bottle measures 9-1/2\" in height, and comes from the Blue Bell Farms in Irvington, NJ... Before I continue, please understand that while this bottle isn\'t all broken up, it isn\'t mint either. I pulled this bottle out of a basement in New Jersey, where it was headed for a dumpster in another week. I am only listing it because of how extremely rare this bottle is. Now that I got that out of the way, on to the condition issues... First let me say that there are no cracks or large chips. However, there are some flee bites from being in the basement. The largest flee bite appears to be on the end of the nose of the face, and around the top where the top was secured to the bottle. The outer glass also has some surface scuffs, so the glass is not perfectly clear. The orange pyro writing is safely about 95% still there, but does show some soiling. I tried to take pictures of all the condition issues the best I could. Normally I wouldn\'t sell an item like this unless is was absolutely perfect. But this is certainly one of those exceptions where I\'m sure someone out there needs a hole to fill in their collection. The good news is that it appears that most of the issues with the glass are minor and tend to disappear with the white styrofoam in the bottle. I also want to state that I am by no means an expert on vintage milk bottles. So if you have any concerns, please let me hear it! To be fair, I\'m going to start the sale at a penny, and let you the collectors determine the price on this one. Good Luck!
Please check my response and offer with confidence. Please check out my other sales, as I am more than happy to combine shipping. As for shipping, unfortunatelyI only ship to the lower 48 of the United States. That means NO international shipping, (and yes, Canada IS international). I usually ship within 24 hours of payment, and I almost always include a delivery confirmation number for peace of mind. I have absolutely no problems with local pick-ups for those of you that want to save on shipping. As for payments, I ONLY accept Paypal, unless you are picking up the item yourself in which case I will accept cash. Payment is due within 2 days from the end of the sale. If you are going to need more time to send payment after an sale, it generally shouldn\'t be a problem so long as you give me a heads up. Thanks for checking out my sale, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks & Enjoy!
