Rare Pair Of Longwy French Faience Cylinder Vases with Crane Decoration For Sale

Featuring a beautiful pair of antique Longwy vases with crane decoration on white ground.

Each vase measures about 9\" tall with a 3\" mouth diameter. They are stamped Longwy underneath.

One vase has a one inch chip on the base (see pic) and an old hairline at the top.

The other vase has a minute flake on the base.Both vases show evidence of normal wear from age and use.

There are also some minor skips in the decoration which would not be unusual for this medium.

The colors are vibrant and the glazes retain their shiny appearance.

A great addition to your French faience or majolica collection - or a neat gift for the collector.
