This sale is for the above photoed, rare 1930s Pre WWII B-3 leather jacket; size 46 L Slender. This jacket was manufactured by the San Antonio Air Depot (SAAD). Air Depots made jackets prior to WWII and before they were manufactured by civilian contractors. As you can see, overall the jacket is in excellent, original condition. The talon zipper and pull are in excellent working condition. The original pocket is present and securely sewn. However, both lower cuffs are fragile, cracked, ripped and with holes (visible in photo 1). There is a very small, three corner tear in the left arm (visible in photo 9). There is a hole in the left side of the collar (visible in photo 10). There is wear on the leather neck straps (visible in photo 11) and there is a tear next to the zipper on the inside of the jacket and is not visible when the jacket is zipped up (visible in photo 12). Lastly, the bottom left edge has the buckle, but is missing the leather strap. The buckle and strap on the right side are both present. Overall, the leather is nice and supple, but could used some conditioning, but I will leave that up to the new owner. With some minor attention, this is a very wearable jacket or would make a great display piece. This sale is for the above photoed item only. Please see photos for actual condition. Please feel free to ask questions. Payment is expected within 3 days. Please take a look at my other sales and check back often. I am always listing military items dating from WWI to modern day.
