RARE Red 1957 Hoffman Solar Radio Transistor SOLARADIO R-P411 Rare Works For Sale

Fresh from a locale estate I am offering this very rare and hard to find red Hoffman SOLARADIO solar powered radio.This was one of the first solar radios ever produced and is quite hard to find.This one is in very good condition for it\'s age with only one chip in the cabinet by on off switch on top as pictured.There is some scuffing to the chrome on the handle where the knobs for adjusting have rubbed against the handle as pictured also.The rest of the radio could use some detailing which I will leave to the new owner.I have not opened the back of the radio but I took it outside and turned it on and and was able to tune into 3 radio stations which seemed to get a good signal.Check the pictures closely as they serve as a big part of the description.No expert on this item so please email any questions prior to offerding.Radio measures just a tad over 9\" wide and 5 1/5\" tall to top of handle.
