These were only produced to show the Executives at Kroger to try to win the contract to produce this line of trucks. Unfortunately, Dunwell Toy made the same offer and got the contract in 1956. This is a hard to find prototype version of a private label Tonka Truck. The truck is in Fair condition with the paint loss and wear shown. Note the semi and trailer are bolted together as shown. The landing wheel frame is broken on one side. The fifth wheel pin must have came loose at one time. Displays great as shown.
