Up for sale is this once in blue moon special piece - an original Wm. Haynes double wall sterling silver \"thermoclarinet\". This is an exceptionally rare piece, according to my research only about 335 of these were made in the late \'20s/until the early \'40s. Not only that but it\'s in excellent condition and has been fully restored with brand new pads and corks, polishing and regulation. It includes what appears to be the original case and all original parts including the \"Haynes 5\" acrylic mouthpiece and cleaning swab. Even the example at the Met museum doesn\'t have the original mouthpiece! It\'s serialized/engraved 238 and has a couple patent/trademark engravings on the bell and on the top of the barrel. Also has a \"B\" engraving.

This instrument is in excellent condition. No rust or pitting anywhere, not a single ding or dent, only some very light nearly invisible surface swirling. Action and play-ability are top notch. It\'s ready to play or to add to your collection. No funny business and not much to say about it condition wise, it\'s incredibly clean!
