RARE Zenith Louis XV (15U273) 15-U-273 Tube Radio - MINT For Sale

If the Georgian is breathtaking, than this model is “off the hook” Amazing. I bought it from a collector after searching for 15 years. This is the only one I found and I paid handsomely for it. I am downsizing my home and selling my entire collection. This is the masterpiece of the collection and I am reluctant to sell it.
That was the most expensive one with a 15 tube chassis in 1938, although not that much more than the Georgian 15U272. Both are beautiful radios, and command a lot of attention even from non-radio people. They are also expensive to buy today.
A Georgian sold at Estes in 2005 for $6500.00. This one is better.
This radio easily becomes the centerpiece of any room and guests at my home continuously migrate to this set. Only a hand full of these models is known to exist today.
Using the 15-tube chassis and single 12” speaker, this 4-band radio retailed for $325.00 and remains one of the most beautiful radios Zenith has ever sold.It looks mint to me.
The grill cloth is a bit worn, but looks original. Otherwise it\'s awesome and works great, green eye and all.
