HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE, VINTAGE KODAK BANTAM SPECIAL“ART DECO STYLE”PORTABLE CAMERA WITH 45mm EKTAR F2 LENS.Many consider this as \"one of the most uniquely beautiful cameras of all time”. This Vintage Kodak camera has a durable black enamel finish with precisioned machined aluminium die cast body measusuring 3-3/16”by 4-13/16\" by 1-13/16\" deep weighing just over one pound at 17 ounces. Kodak produced this signature camera from 1936-1948 and was designed with a modern look by Walter Dorwin Teague whom was a pioneer in industrial design in the 1930’s. During the time this was a veryhigh end camera with many advanced features such as built in split-image and range-finder focusing. When first introduced in 1936 the camera was priced at $110 ($1800 today) and later reduced to $87 due to itspopularity and heigtened production. Its Evident this cameara was well taken care of in its original leather case.

BEAUTIFUL CAMERA IS IN EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IS HOUSED ITS ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE.Camera contains minor scratches/wear that you could expect from its age. There is a small tare along the seam of the case, but very minor. The case holds the camera very securely (like a glove).
