This authentic buffalo skull with the intricate carving was hand crafted in Bali, the "Island of the Gods", Indonesia. Balinese Master Artisan Carvers with expertise you can only develop over a lifetime spend 2-3 full days of drawing and carving to transform a normal animal skull into a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The notion of taking an animal skull and carving a beautiful design into it has its roots in Bali itself making it an original and one-of-a-kind Balinese tradition.
The skull is wall mountable using the string we attach to the back of the skull. We are also happy to give you the exact measurements of the stand shown in the picture if you would like to mount it on an actual stand.
The horns can be fitted either facing upwards to add more length or backwards to add a more streamline look.
You are purchasing a skull with the exact design displayed on the picture. The skull itself and the horns may be slightly larger or smaller (+- a few inches) as no two skulls or horns are exactly the same size. For any special requests please feel free to message us.
