ROBERT SMITH BREWING CO. SIGN
Up for sale is a tin pre-pro sign from The Robert Smith Ale Brewing Co. of Philadelphia.
The company began in 1774 and lasted until 1987, and was the oldest brewery in the country at the time.
Their biggest seller was the Tiger Head Ale brand but more brands are in the graphics such as India Pale Ale - English Pale - Old Musty - Brown Stout - Imperial Burton.
Sentenne & Green of New York USA is the lithographer and Wolf & Co. Selling Agents and I don\'t see more since it gets close to the frame.
It has been framed in an older wood frame that is about 18 1/2\" by 24 1/4\" and the tin is about 14\" by 19 1/2\" and I will remove from the frame if the winner wishes and send only the tin to save on shipping.
I don\'t see any retouching on the tin and all looks original with bright colors.
It is in great condition with a few scratches and one small dent (last photo), check out the photos.
It would make a great addition to your collection or for a gift to the collector on your list.
Please check my other sales for more steins, banks & figurines and I will be happy to combine wins to save on shipping costs if possible.
SHIPPING: Buyer to pay for shipping with insurance included.
Iowa residents will add 6% sales tax.
Payment needs to be received within 7 days of the close of the sale.
Your item may be picked up at Joy\'s Treasures, a collectible gift store in business for over 23 years - 501 5th Street - West Des Moines, Iowa 50265 - Valley Junction.
