Thanks for coming by the sale! I have for your consideration a Sansui G8000 Receiver in excellent condition. I purchased it from the original owner who is a big record collector. It looks very well taken care of. All lights turn on, knobs work, I have pluged in a record player to both inputs and they work, I tested the radio and both AM & FM work. I tried all of the muting, tone, filters, balance etc and they work as well. I do not know how the heck the tape monitor works but I must assume that it works because this piece is in such amazing condition. The only real flaw that I can find, besides the minor wear on the unit (some scratches on the front metal and a nick on the right side - pictured) is that the volume knob needs some contact spray. It was crackly when I turned it. I am not sure how to get the knob off otherwise I would do it myself. It is also not smooth like the tuner knob is. I do not know if it supposed to be or not. I do like the feature that it has where you can set the maximum volume output on it.These units are truly built to last and are gorgeous pieces of audio equipment. I really hate to sell it but I am starting my own business venture! Just when I thought it could not get any sweeter ~ I found the original warranty card, warranty service envelope, instruction manual, the schematic diagram, and a booklet on the power supply voltage/ fuse changeover !!!!
