This 17 ½ inch tall doll was produced in 1998 as a part of a series of dolls created in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service commemorative stamps recognizing classic American dolls. This doll represents the wooden dolls manufactured by Albert Schoenhut in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the early 20th century. This replica is mint and new in box. The doll has a metal jointed wood body similar to the original doll bodies making her highly poseable. The doll wears her all original costume and has the original label on her back.
