WOW! Just wow! I just purchased this vintage Louis Marx "Gunsmoke, Dodge City" out of a local estate and my photos do NOT do justice to the excellent mint to extremely near mint condition of the figures and pieces. They all have their original factory sheen, no dirt or soiling, no chews, no melt marks -- plain and simple, they do not look as if they ever saw any play at all. By the way, I am not being sexist here, but when I bought the set I noticed a girl's name written on the lid. Upon inquiry, I learned the set had in fact been owned by a little girl -- and again, not being sexist, but we all know that generally speaking girls took better care of their toys than boys, so that could be part of the reason the pieces were so wonderfully preserved. The tin litho store front and bunk house are also near perfection, with no rust, no brown foxing spots, all tabs are fully intact and no multiple bends -- I really can't say enough about how nice the contents are. Now, as you can see the box is complete, but has soiling, one corner is split out and another partially split, tears, nicks, etc., but for its age still not all that bad at all in my opinion. There are no instructions or envelopes. I do not know for sure how many parts came with this set, and couldn't find anything on the internet that told me, but from my general (and limited) knowledge of other play sets, it sure seems like this one MIGHT be complete (but I do NOT know for sure -- you will have to be the judge of that). If you want more photos I'll do my best to accommodate, just let me know. Lastly, regarding shipping -- please note that I will require insurance (I'm sure you will want it too), signature receipt confirmation will be required, and although I will ship internationally I will only do so via Global Express so I can have tracking and delivery confirmation. Unless you can find a brand new old set, I challenge you to find one with better condition playing pieces. I know it may sound like a cliche, but this probably really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: For shipments within the US I will probably get you a quote for Priority Mail and Parcel Select (and/or First Class or Media Mail if applicable), but let me know if you prefer some other type of shipping and I will do my best. LOCAL PICKUP in Topeka, KS, is always available at no extra cost.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: On international orders I will probably quote First Class Mail and/or Priority Mail (keeping in mind First Class cannot be used if the weight is over 4 pounds or it exceeds certain size limits). Because of 's changes telling sellers they have to take PayPal, on International orders I also ALWAYS reserve the right to REQUIRE an item to be sent by Priority Mail so that I can purchase indemnity to cover myself on higher ticket items (that is because you can't insure International First Class and of course PayPal won't confirm international accounts).
HANDLING CHARGES: The cost of mailing materials keeps going up, and I package things well (see my response). So, to cover some of these every-increasing costs, and as allows in its rules, I must now include an additional $1.00 "handling charge" on most sales to defray my expenses.
PAYMENT and KANSAS SALES TAX: Per 's policy, in my ad I can only ask for payment via PayPal (I have no way to accept credit cards directly). On sales to Kansas residents I will have to collect applicable sales tax.
CUSTOMS DECLARATION, DUTIES, TARIFFS, ETC.:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding/buying.
These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up, so do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
RETURNS: Everything I sell is purchased at estate sales, sales, and other sales, and I am NOT an expert on anything that I sell. So, EVERYTHING is sold AS IS. In some cases I will consider accepting return of an item, but that is in my discretion (but as you can see by my response, I have always been fair to everyone I deal with, so please offer with confidence). I didn't used to follow this "as is" policy, but due to a growing number of purchasers who are scammers, and with taking away a seller's ability to leave negative response for a bad buyer, some buyers don't have any incentive to play fairly. So, those few dishonest buyers and 's rule have forced me into this policy.
MISC: I DON'T END sales EARLY, and if I didn't list it as a "Buy It Now" item then I don't intend to offer it that way, so there is no reason to ask.
If has some sort of problem during this sale, I reserve the right to cancel the sale and re-list the item.
If there are props or such in the photo, they are not included in the sale (rulers, display shelves, coins to show size, mannequin heads, etc.).
I leave response AFTER the buyer leaves response.
