This Selmer metal clarinet has a serial number 1414 which places its manufacturing date between 1928-1929The clarinet is in good shape, and the silver plating is largely intact ( some plating has worn off near joints, but is not visible exceptupon close inspection). It sounds and plays great. Was recently overhauled by Gary Armstrong Woodwinds in Toronto(replaced various pads, springs, corks etc.). No mouthpiece included.
Includes original Selmer case, however the handles for the case are missing. The latches on the case work fine.
Note that this is a \'high pitch\' clarinet, set to A=457 rather than the modern standard pitch of A=440.
