Shirley Temple 22\" Composition Doll 1930\'s Ideal with Bonus Outfit For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage 1930\'s 22\" Shirley Temple Composition doll. This doll belonged to my mother. Although I am not a subject matter expert in this area of collectibles, I have done a reasonable amount of reading and am more familiar with the terminology. I am a collector of other items such as action figures and sports memorabilia so do know how important it is to describe the item as accurately as possible. The doll has the \"Shirley Temple\" half circle on the back of the head. Inside the half circle, \"Ideal\" is written on one line and on the next line \"N.&T. Co.\" is written. \"COP\" is written to the left of both previously mentioned lines. On Shirley\'s back is written \"Shirley Temple\" with \"Ideal\" written inside a diamond just underneath her name.
Regarding the condition, both the doll and the clothing really need a good cleaning. I haven\'t even tried to clean the doll (and it badly needs one) out of fear of ruining it due to its delicate nature. The clothes also need to be washed as they have yellowed with time and are stained. Specific to the doll, it has a fair amount of crazing all over with the most pronounced being where the leg and hip joints meet. All of the fingers and toes are in tact. The doll does need to be restrung since it\'s very loose. Overall, the doll seems to have held up very well over time. It is over 70 years old after all. Specific to the clothes, you will receive 2 sets: The blue outfit she is wearing and the white sailor outfit displayed in a separate picture. As mentioned, both outfits definitely need a cleaning and do display varying levels of wear and tear. The blue outfit is a genuine Shirley Temple as indicated on the tag. Both buttons on the back of the blue outfit are in tact. However, one of the blue strings on the back appears to have been cut. Regarding the white outfit, I could not locate a tag to prove whether or not it\'s a genuine Shirley Temple even though there is a pin on the jacket. All 6 red buttons on the pants are in tact. Shirley\'s shoes have seen better days. Both buckles are torn. It also looks like a jewel is missing on her right shoe. The soles of the shoes are in decent shape.
I took pictures that best help show what I\'ve described above. Like I said, I\'m not an expert in this area but did my best to describe the doll. If you have any questions or would like to see additional pictures, please let me know.
Shipping and Handling:I use economy shipping with tracking and insurance. In addition, I take packaging very seriously. Your item will be wrapped in bubble wrap surrounded by packing popcorn and shipped in a sturdy box to prevent any damage during transport.
Return Policy:Since I describe my items as clearly as possible, I do not normally accept returns especially given the delicate nature of such items.
