A beautiful and hard-to-find solar attachment for a surveyor\'s transit. It is in excellent condition. There is no damage and nothing missing. Everything seems to work properly. There are three graduated scales, which appear to be silver. It is a very complicated instrument, and I can\'t begin to tell you how it works. There are three attachment holes for mounting thesolar attachment on your transit. They are not equidistant. The two on the bottom (the two closest together), are two inches from center to center. The bottom holes are each 3 1/4\" from the top hole. The attachment base rotates.
