Antique Dresden Lace figural lamp, 3 beautiful ballerinas dancing around a central column. A stunningly beautiful piece, probably very rare. This would appear to be the body of a lamp, with a hollow center column, and a hole in the back for wiring to be fed through; as best as we can tell, this was never wired up and actually used as a lamp before, we did not have to remove any lamp fixtures from this piece, we found it packed away as you see here at a Malibu, California estate. We believe we have identified the mark as being \"Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik in Volkstedt in Deutschland im Zeitraum ca. 1915 - 1936,\" if we are correct this is an early 20th century piece. One pinky finger on one dancer is missing, 2 large areas of loss to the lace, one other smaller area of loss, possibly several other smaller areas of loss that we have failed to notice. Please inspect photos closely, the photos should be considered part of the description.
Size is approximately 11 inches long from base to top of center column, 9 inches wide at widest.
This is a large and heavy piece, weighing approximately 5 pounds. It\'s going to be expensive to ship by FedEx Ground (we would not trust the US post office with this.) We have not quite as yet figured out the best method to pack and ship this item safely yet, we are estimating the shipping at a flat 90 dollars, and will refund any overcharge if less to your location, or absorb any extra costs if more. If you happen to be local to Southern CA, local pickup is encouraged. Usually we list shipping time to be 3 days to give us some leeway but actually ship in one day, but this time we are listing 5 days and may end up using all of them to make sure this is packed as safely as
