WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. Here\'s an amazingly bubbly and early open pontilled \"pig snout\" gin which is very nicely shaded with variegated color and it\'s in virtually pristine perfect condition. NO form of damage whatsoever. It\'s easy to see that this bottle has obviously been recognized since the beginning, as being a VERY special piece of glass and it certainly is clear that

it\'s been taken very good care of over its lifetime. It is over 150 years old and the bottle being in this basically flawless state of original un-dug / non-tumbled condition is extremely rare. It\'s definitely looking as though it has been attic stored for quite a very long time and in my opinion, this one IS the best possible example that you could ever hope to find and the winning buyer is going to be absolutely thrilled with it. The glass is in a rare \"OLD AMBER\" color which is hardly ever seen in a Gin; and it has crude, uneven / sunken panels with swirl lines and some impurities (none with radiations) through the glass and it\'s just about FULL of bubbles of all different sizes. here are just bubbles on top of bubbles and bubbles WITHIN bubbles and

well,... you get the idea; right. There\'s a ___load of bubbles. Now,....

you might think that with ALL of those bubbles in the glass, that there would be quite a few that are open at the surface. Just the opposite actually. There are very few open at the surface.

OK; moving on..... Please be very careful with the pontil scar. Don\'t cut or jab yourself.( ; It\'s a good thing that there\'s a relatively deep kick up in the base, because otherwise, there would be no way for the bottle to stand on its own with an open pontil that\'s jutting out that far. Another interesting and very unusual feature, is that there are squatty, elongated crosses embossed on all 4 sides

around the circumference of the pontil. I have never seen this feature before on any other bottle. Anyway, I think I\'m just wasting time in pointing out these characteristics. The photos should certainly speak for themselves; but please know that no other bottles shown are to be included. So please be sure to view all 12 carefully; as they too, are considered as being part of the description. Height is 9 1/8 inches. Width across the shoulders is 3 5/8 and the width across the base is 2 3/8. The width across the flared lip at its widest point is 1 9/16. It\'s highly unlikely that you\'re ever going to see another one anywhere even close to being as nice as this one is. This will most likely be your one and only chance to get this amazing example into your collection. So DON\'T miss out on it!
