Manufactured for one of the famous boutiques of the ‘Palais Royale’ in Paris, where high class goods were supplied to the High & Mighty in the early 19th century. The side plates are surrounded with rope twist silver inlay; and in between two rosettes of Mother-of-Pearl and copper wire stands a MoP tightrope walker holding a staff and hoop; the other side displays similar work, with an elongated name plate. There are three blades and a unique lighter on the back. Condition is excellent. All blades have strong springs and NO lateral or horizontal movement; they do have most of their mirror finish, with just some light rust staining. The side plates have no damages, but show tiny scratches of use. It measures 3¼ inches (8.5cm) closed, the main blade is 2¾ inches (7cm) long.C\'est sans aucun doute la plus belle et la plus rare couteau de pochefrançais que j\'ai acheté. Incrusté, et entre deuxrosettes de nacre et fil de cuivre, un nacre funambule tenant un bâton et lecercle. Les affichages secondaires on voir un travail similaire, avec un plaquede nom, allongée. Il existe trois lames, et un briquet unique sur l\'arrière. Ilest en excellente etats: toutes les lames ont ressorts puissants. Il y aaucun mouvement latéral ou horizontal. Pourt la plupart, il y a le finitionmiroir, avec quelques taches de rouille lumière, mais pas trop. Il n’y pas desdommages, mais il montrent les petites rayures d\'utilisation. Il mesure 8.5cmfermait; la lame principale fait 7cm de longeur.
