Superb 19thc Staffordshire porcellanous group figure of a spaniel and her pup. Dating c.1860.

Excellent attention to detail on this figure. Unusually, the red and white mother dog has blue eyes. The pup is black and white. Both depicted on an oval cobalt blue base with gilt detail around. The adult dog has fine hand painted detail to face with black whiskers on pink muzzle.

Measures some 6.25\" height x 4.75\" at base.

Condition: A seam hairline from top of head down the back of adult dog and a dent/hollowed area to front of blue base. Otherwise overall very good and age commensurate condition. All as images.
