SUPERB CHINESE CARVED TURQUOISE LIDDED VASE W LOOSE RINGS ARCHAIC DESIGN W STAND For Sale

Description...Presented here for sale is a wonderful Chinese turquoise stone carving in the form of a vase or jar with cover in a archaic design depicting phoenix birds and dragons along with dragon head handles containing loose rings with another set of loose rings to the sides of the cover displayed on top of a silver wire inlaid wood stand. This vase was produced in China sometime during the second half of the 1900s having a lovely green/blue coloring with black and russet veining having a nice surface polish. The cover has a openwork design to the top with a center finial that a pair of loose rings are suspended from and the body has low relief carvings of phoenix pairs to one side and dragons to the opposite side supported by a flared hollow foot displayed on a fitted hardwood stand with a archaic design to the apron with silver wire inlay. This would make a great addition to ones collection as these turquoise carved vessels do not come up for sale often.
Condition...Excellent with not chips, cracks, losses or repairs just some production flaws due to the veining and different textures of the material but all in all a gorgeous piece.
