A wonderful portrayal of the seated pair of spaniel dogs with:
each having the russet red & white decoration and colouring with the wonderful facial detailing.
Pottery.
Gilt collars & locks with the hand painted black chains.
Each has an overall height of about 8.5inches.
Max basesizes ofabout 5.75 x 3.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is:
one is subject to a fine hairline underneath with the other:
subject to a series of hairlines & cracks to the rear which continue underneath: with todays modern & advanced restoration techniques, can certainly be improved.
Due to age: both are subject to areas of fine crazing with areas of loss of colour.
