Superior Confection Co. Gum Ball Cigarette Trade Stimulator Mfg. 1936:
$1913.88

Important Note: This is a trade stimulator provides a gum ball for 1 cent. Although is has tumblers like a slot machine, it does not pay out.Superior Confection Company 1cent ball gum cigarette stimulator manufactured on March 16, 1936. 90% Original Unrestored Condition. Unit functions as it should. This trade stimulator has been in my family since new, and was originally used in a small store on Mitchell Avenue in Hagerstown, Maryland. I got the unit from my great aunt (who owned the store), and have had it for the last 40 years. The only work that I have done to the machine is to make a new base and to fabricate and install a steel bar to act as a stop for the operating mechanism. The base of the unit is 14 3/8\" high and the base is 10\" wide and 11\" deep. When a penny is inserted, three tumblers with cigarette brands on them spin like a slot machine. If the machine is tilted, a lever trips and the display is covered with a sign that says \"You cheated me!\"Cigarette brands displayed are Polar, Fatima, Old Gold, Chesterfield, Kool, Lucky Strike, Clown, and Camel.Known issues are as follows:1. Wooden base has been replaced (I can include the original base if desired).
2. Lower right screw on top panel where \"rewards\" placard would be is not original.
3. Rewards placard is missing.
4. Small lever stop tab broken off of casting of internal mechanical mechanism. Steel bar fabricated and installed to serve as stop.
5. Glass missing over coin mechanism.
6. Crack in left side of black glass on front panel of gum ball storage area.
7. Lock is missing from back panel. Panel is secured by a small screw.
8. I do not have the key for the gum ball storage area.
9. Superior stickers on sides are very worn/faded.All issues are shown in the pictures. I can provide some additional pictures on request. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping weight including packaging will be approximately 22 lbs.
